What can you do with your Professions?

Primary professions:

Alchemy – сraft potions and flasks to use or sell and earn tons of gold on auction house;
Jewelcrafting – craft unique and various gems which will help increase stats. You can also sell them and make lots of gold on auction house;
Blacksmithing – craft great gear from bars and ore for yourself or for sale;
Enchanting – unlock ability to add stat bonuses to items, increase the power of your character;
Engineering – create great and powerful items or create unique mounts to sell and earn huge amounts of gold;
Herbalism – gather herbs and other resources for crafting or selling on auction house;
Leatherworking – craft powerful gear;
Mining – farm ore and create metal bars to sell them on auction house or use them as resources for other professions;
Skinning – gather fur and skin to sell or use as a resource for another profession;
Tailoring – craft cloth gear, bags and armor for caster classes, this can bring you lots of gold from auction house.
Inscription – create glyphs to improve class versatility, this as other profession will get you tons of gold by selling glyphs and vellums.

Secondary professions:
Cooking – cook very useful food and drinks, they will get you health, mana and buffs for you or friends in your group.
First Aid – craft and use healing bandages, help your allies in PvP;
